How to get your Original Xbox Online in 2018!

Since April 25,2010 Microsoft had shut down the Xbox Live servers… RIP… But the spirit lives on and there are quite a number of people that are still playing on the first generation Xbox. There is a small community of players that are playing these classic games online today!  As the title of this post suggest, it is possible today in 2018 to be playing online with other players. I discovered a program that is what I call a “Mini Live” because it is like a part of the old Xbox Live didn't die. Its still living and thriving on with a active community of players. It is a small community but it is alive! The program is called xLink Kai and what this program does is that it utilizes your computer that is connected to the internet. You connect a Ethernet cable from your computer to the Console. After you sign up and make an account with xLink Kai and create an xTag you can use the program as a way of connecting to servers and play any games that are System Link capable.

The program then connects you into severs with ease. You can connect to Halo 2 severs and arenas that players from all walks of life can play in real time through LAN. though for some reason most of the Halo 2 severs are being hosted in Latin America... but that besides the point as long as there is servers running today and hosting matches with very few lag, though I'll be honest there is a bit of input lag sometimes (could be my connection). Anyway, it is the easiest way of getting FREE "Xbox Live” but without the features. Also you can add friends who have xTags in xLink Kai on the software. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of the original Xbox and who misses playing original Xbox games like Halo 2 even Halo Combat Evolved online! (Wasn’t possible when Xbox Live first came out back in the day because it didn’t have the capability and plus it wasn’t included not until Halo   It is amazing playing these games online again!
